Job Summary:
We are seeking an Experienced HVAC/R Service Technician and an Installation Technician to join our team. As a HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, cooling and refrigeration systems in various settings. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and HVAC systems will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.
Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair systems, including gas forced hot air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps ducted and non-ducted, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with systems, such as leaks, faulty components, or inadequate heating and cooling cycles.
- Test and calibrate thermostats, pressure controls, and other system components
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete larger projects or installations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Proficient in using tools and equipment required for system installation and repair
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Experience with brazing, soldering, plumbing, and welding techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently is essential for success.
