Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems in residential settings. This position focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of HVAC equipment. Please note that this role does not involve commercial work or installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Replace or repair defective components to restore HVAC systems to working order.
- Perform system tests to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their HVAC needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a minimum of [X years] of relevant experience.
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance techniques.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA certification preferred but not required.
