This person knows the nuances of residential homes and construction, who feels comfortable inside someone’s house, is willing to climb in the attic then go present to (25) real estate professionals. This person understands people, interior design, space planning and professional organizing principles, and possesses extremely sophisticated client management and sales skills (i.e. you've successfully worked with celebrities and millionaires in the past).

Position Overview:

If you have a track record of bringing in new revenue, establishing industry partnerships, and growing existing sales channels, this might be the role for you. This is a hybrid role – direct contributor as well as part of our leadership team. In the field and in the office. There is a lot of variety and “the world is your oyster” mentality with this role.
Perhaps you’re bored with the corporate sales environment, or the B2B sales culture. Perhaps you’ve received some great training with the companies you’ve worked for, but the mission and vision didn’t align with you. Or perhaps you feel confined by your current role and desire to make a direct impact and carve your own future.
In this role, you’ll work directly with our founder as an outside salesperson to drive revenue for all our service offerings, serve as an account manager for our hundreds of engaged clients who benefit from our ongoing services, serve as a business development professional to increase our brand awareness in the industry by attending local events, and drive new business through the strategic relationships you cultivate with industry partners.
You’ll work directly with our project manager to ensure the technical requirements and client expectations are exceeded for the projects you create and sell.
As a fast-growing company, this role carries a lot of responsibility and ambiguity but an opportunity to be part of the founding team at Koncept Garage. If you haven’t worked in a fast-growing startup, haven't managed high-end clientele, haven't been in sales for 10+ years or haven’t been successful accomplishing many clients-facing responsibilities before, you will drown here and you will drown fast. So, save yourself while you can (several have already tried and failed)!
This role requires proficiency with sales software like Salesforce, Hubspot and Streak as well as project management and financial software like BuilderTrend, Procore, JobTread and QuickBooks.

Your first 30 days:
- With the founder you will call & pre-qualify new inbound leads who book consultations on our website
- Shadow a variety of at-home consultations
- Learn how we create proposals
- Attend industry events to network, learn our language, and observe presentations to industry professionals (real estate agents, interior designers, architects, home builders)
- Work on several jobs with our field team to learn the nuances and key differentiators of our services (and earn a few stripes)
- Shadow our project manager to learn what makes our style of project management unique and highly satisfying for our clients
You will be expected to study our workflows, processes and differentiators each day and rapidly gain a working knowledge of our value proposition, market positioning, sales style, ideal clients and sales funnels.
30-60 days:
- Lead pre-qualification calls with potential clients
- Complete basic in-home consultations
- Draft and present your first proposals
- Begin your outbound efforts to establish new relationships
- Sending your first invoices
By the end of 60 days you'll know the entire client journey from start to finish and be generating revenue.
60-90 days:
- Lead the charge and get plenty of reps speaking with clients, completing consultations, presenting projects, and establishing your own relationships
- Start to pitch the leadership team your business development ideas and start executing on them
- Attend industry events on your own and grow your network
- Host lunch n learns and present to teams of industry professionals (real estate agents, interior designers, architects, home builders)
By the end of 90 days, you’re confident as the point of contact for our clientele and industry partners, you’re driving your own revenue and have traction with new industry relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Priority #1: Own the entire sales process to drive direct revenue by pre-qualifying inbound phone and web leads, scheduling and completing at-home consultations, creating and presenting proposals, following up and closing new deals
- Priority #2: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with home builders, interior designers and architects, attend industry events, schedule lunch n learn presentations with industry professionals
- Priority #3: Create and spearhead new sales initiatives (like developing an outbound sales process or hosting events that facilitate community)
- Ensure Koncept Garage’s high-quality standards are always maintained
- Serve as the point of contact for all prospective clients and industry partners, ensuring all revenue generating opportunities are obtained
- Proactively report on all sales-related KPIs to the leadership team and pitch ideas to improve them
- Ensure clients’ expectations are exceeded, 5-star reviews are obtained, and referrals are driven by leveraging network effects
- Effectively communicate with C-suite level executives in the home improvement space to foster new partnerships
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments combined with strong business and sales instincts
- Knowledge of the home improvement industry with well-established relationships
- Experience managing the sales funnel and closing new business through strategic partnerships and negotiations
- Proven self-starter with a bias for action who can make things happen when faced with ambiguity

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
