Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Manager to oversee and lead our HVAC team in maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and possess leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The AGES Services Manager will act as a liaison between technicians, customers, customer service reps, dispatch, vendors, and suppliers. Maintain customer accounts, mentor new employees, achieve and excel in quality control, deliver exceptional performance in meeting all targets across all our HVAC department.
SERVICE MANAGER ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Profitability and growth revenue: Enhance HVAC service department’s profitability and revenue growth by offering inventive solutions to foster company expansion and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Customer Relations: On call customer contact, build and maintain relationships, provide technical advice and problem-solving.
- Quality Assurance: implement and maintain high quality standards for HVAC service delivery. Conduct inspections and quality checks to meet industry standards and guidelines.
- Technical Support: 24/7 on call service to field technicians for complex tasks.
- Resource Management: manage inventory of HVAC equipment, supplies, and tools for techs to complete their assigned tasks.
- Budget and Cost Control: assist HVAC service budget, track expenses, implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Compliance and Safety: ensure field service teams adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: assist in diagnostic and troubleshooting HVAC system issues, higher level resolutions.
- Reporting: preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management for HVAC service performance, key performance indicators, customer feedback, and finances.
- Training and Development: identify training needs for service team to enhance and further develop technicians.
- Stay Updated: keep updated with latest industry standards, technology, trends and regulations.
- Communication: present professional demeanor always, ability to handle escalations within service field techs, office personnel and owners.
- Availability: The Service Manager must be available when needed with the following response times: immediate answer to calls, text responses within 2–3 minutes for emergency calls, and call backs within 5 minutes for voicemails. NO EXCEPTIONS. Continuous monitoring is required for after-hours service technicians in the field.
- Escalations: handle all escalations for field service techs and office, any escalations which require senior management, will be brought to management level hierarchy prior to contacting executive HVAC Service VP
DIVISIONAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Routine Sales Coaching- performs routine coaching with field service techs.
- Implement new system sale attributes with field service techs.
- Service Tech and Divisional Meetings - organize, prepare, and maintain divisional meetings, prepare agenda weekly, and maintain meeting notes and follow up with task assigned items.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HVAC services, plus 2 years prior proven service management experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand.

- Valid driver's license with clean, insurable driving record & able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
