Position Summary
As a successful HVAC Senior Service Manager at CEC, you will manage mechanical service teams and help ensure the departments continued profitability and growth. This includes but is not limited to, overseeing daily dispatching and efficiencies of our service technicians, reviewing billing and warranty claims, interaction with other managers in respect to their warranty, start up, maintenance and installation needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage phases of the daily HVAC & plumbing service operations
- Manage small projects from start to finish
- Oversee Service Managers and a Field QA/QC Manager to optimize daily operations
- Evaluate and schedule service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits
- Bid-on and accurately maintain service agreements, repairs, and move add change projects
- Meet goals and maintain customer satisfaction
- Work closely with clients and lead technicians as well as other office staff members
- Train, develop, and hold your team accountable to performance standards and expectations
- Participate in budget planning and meeting preparation
- Thoroughness in billing for all parts and materials
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years management experience in a Commercial HVAC service industry
- Experience in Chilled and Heating water systems
- High school diploma, GED, or its equivalent required

- Valid driver's license with clean, insurable driving record
- Detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning new technologies
- Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal, phone, and interpersonal skills
- Strong mechanical and installation understanding of the tools and equipment that technicians use
- Self- sufficient, self- motivated, proactive, and able to find and organize customer base and service-related information

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest), as needed.
- Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
- Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
