Main Responsibilities
- Effectively lead all solar installations to completion.
- Be Able to build roof and ground Solar Arrays efficiently.
- Install micro inverter systems and string inverter systems
- Install energy storage systems
- Comprehend solar permit plans
- Ability to make field modifications to installations where plans designs are not viable.
- Test Electrical Systems
- Install, maintain and repair solar energy systems
- Troubleshoot problems and resolve known issues in a timely and profitable manner
- Be professional in communications with the customer and clearly communicate updates to the customer and teammate
- Repair Electrical Systems
- Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints and maps
- Progressively learn electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Must have general labor knowledge
- Work on heights, including climbing roofs
- Complete quality work in a timely and efficient manner; ensure equipment is properly working
- Complete documentation related to installations
- Ensures all processes and policies are adhered to
- Ensure the highest quality workmanship and compliance with all current codes
- Meet safety requirements
- Arrive to customer locations timely
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of three years experience working as an Electrician
- Must have a reliable source of transportation and a valid drivers license
- Must work with solar electrical systems
- Must have 2 years experience building roof and ground arrays.
- Must be willing to learn and follow directions from others
- Must be willing to work on a team with a positive attitude
- Ascends/descends ladders to access roofs
- Must be comfortable with working in heights
- Position oneself in a stoop, crouch, crawl and kneeling positions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions; including humid, hot and cold weather
- Travel is light but likely. Must be available to complete 40 hrs when traveling.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
