Team members will be working in a New Construction environment in teams of 4 to 12. Individuals will be expected to have necessary knowledge and skills with power tools, sheet metal, and basic electrical/control installation.
Responsiblities:
-Using hand and power tools to cut, connect, bend, install, seal, hang, secure sheet metal and sheet metal accessories.
-Using hand and power tools to install thermostat wire and hardware in new construction settings
-Using hand and power tools to install and hang various piping in new construction settings
-Work in team environment to accomplish tasks as directed on job site
-Follow safety protocols in construction as required by OSHA standards
-Working off of ladders safely
-Working with Man Elevated Work Platforms safely
-Working alongside other trades professionally and safely
Skills:
-Sheet Metal skills
-Power Tools
-Basic Electrical
-Soldering / Braising/ Welding a plus
-MEWP certification a plus
-OSHA30 certification a plus
-Basic Ladder skills
Requirements:
Must have transportation to and from the job site
Must have own basic hand and power tools including Impact Drill, Angle Grinder, batteries needed
Must have valid drivers license
Must be eligible for work in USA
Work hours:
Full time 7am-3:30pm M-F on site
Workplaces are in Ann Arbor area, Ypsilanti, Detroit, Royal Oak, Novi
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
