Apartment Community on the westside of Indianapolis has an immediate opening for a Full-Time, experienced Maintenance Technician. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our team and assist with the maintenance of the property. Must have reliable transportation, be punctual, team-oriented, EPA Certified, own tools and willing to rotate on-call responsibilities.
Pay Range- $19-$22 per Hour Based on Experience.
Maintenances Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes work orders assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenant occupancy
Maintaining property grounds
Preventative maintenance as assigned
Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
Maintenance Technician Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years' experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent a must
Drywalling including painting and carpentry
Basic knowledge of plumbing
Must be comfortable communicating and working with outside contractors and vendors
Basic knowledge of electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
HVAC and EPA certifications
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk and inspect property daily
Candidates must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
