Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Install/repair/replace various systems: hydraulic, steam, radiant, and high efficiency heating
- Install and troubleshoot low voltage wiring for heat & hot water systems
- Minimal Service. Mostly PM, Diagnostic, Troubleshooting Etc.
- Check layout of existing heat devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures.
- Getting dispatched to Commercial buildings and repairing currently existing units.
- Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures.
- Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts.
- Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
Commercial HVAC Technician Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial HVAC Service & repair experience
- EPA/CFC certification required
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork with peers
