Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technical Installer
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technical Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The role requires proficiency in understanding blueprints, performing installations according to specifications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality workmanship. Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup: Execute the installation of commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to ductwork, ventilation units, air handlers, and associated components following blueprints and specifications.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with building codes.
- Testing and Calibration: Perform testing, calibration, and adjustment of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in HVAC systems, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout all installation projects, adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document installation processes, equipment specifications, maintenance records, and service reports. Provide detailed reports to management and clients as required.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, addressing inquiries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to promote a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Identify potential safety hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in HVAC technology through continuous learning and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in installing and repairing commercial HVAC systems, with a strong understanding of HVAC principles, components, and controls.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as EPA 608 certification, HVAC/R certification, or equivalent is preferred.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics related to HVAC installations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement effective solutions, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing installations, inspections, and documentation tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and performing duties in various environmental conditions.
- Safety Consciousness: Commitment to following safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and other professionals to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
