Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or license as an HVAC technician
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including appliances, schematics, and ammonia refrigeration
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (van driving may be required)
- Ability to perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
