Role
As a Senior VFD Technician (also known as Variable Frequency Drives Technician, VFD Specialist), you'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of VFD units. You'll also respond to equipment breakdowns, conduct on-site repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and advise on equipment upgrades. Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with multiple manufacturers of Variable Frequency Drives.
- Strong working knowledge of three-phase motors and control circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical and mechanical drawings, safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
- Installation and troubleshooting skills for heating and cooling systems.
- OSHA 30 and SST certifications.
- Team player with good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
- Experience programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA & 0-10 Vdc devices.
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision.
