Fast learning, detailed installers earn as much as 90k within 1-3 years and top earning Lead Installers $100,000/year +. You will start as a trainee learning gas appliances, wood-burning appliances, venting, framing, masonry and other aspects of our business. During training period we will pay on an hourly pay basis commensurate with your experience as you learn this career. We are looking for people either with current experience in our field or new to this industry who are looking for a long term rewarding career. If you have significant experience in the remodeling and building industry and are willing to work hard, you will earn more quickly with us.
This is a fun but demanding job, that typically is an 8-9 hour day, but sometimes longer with great incentive based pay. We need people who fit our core values of Professional, Skilled, Do What it Takes, Creative, Organized, Trustworthy and Make People Happy and we will train that person to do the job.
It is a bonus, and you will learn more quickly if you have knowledge of home construction & framing and/or HVAC knowledge and experience, and have comfort working with siding and on roofs. If you have significant constructions experience, or HVAC installation experience, that will be a big advantage with this career but not required. Also if you have significant experience in the remodeling and building industry and are willing to work hard, you will earn more quickly with us.
You must already have good customer service mentality and able to work well with home owners and contractors.
You will have a lot of variety every day, which makes this a fun and never dull career. You will be removing and installing gas fireplaces, installing wood-burning fireplaces, and doing venting and framing as well as other tasks that vary from customer to customer.
You will learn the technical aspects of fireplaces & combustion. This is a year round job with very little slow time. We provide most tools and a company trucks for our crews to use.
