Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and design principles. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layout and installation requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and provide effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Conduct repairs on various appliances related to heating and cooling systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any other relevant documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with hazardous materials or high-pressure systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors as needed to complete projects on time.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and the ability to build systems from the ground up is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC systems.
- Experience with appliance repair and troubleshooting air conditioning units is essential.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for metal fabrication related to HVAC installations is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
