Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service while performing their duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other automated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in training new maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to weld and perform various repair tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience supervising teams or projects preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and troubleshooting automated systems is highly desirable.
- A logical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically under pressure.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
