We are currently seeking an experienced Supermarket Manager/Supervisor to join our expanding team at a fast-paced commercial HVAC/R company.
Responsibilities:
- Train technicians and oversee the maintenance of refrigeration rack systems and HVAC equipment for clients.
- Ensure proper parts are ordered and jobs keep moving in a timely manor
- Provide timely job updates to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform refrigeration/HVAC preventative maintenance checks as assigned.
- Manage larger projects and quotes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair various HVAC-R equipment.
- Must reside within the general service area.
- Participate in leadership on-call rotation, supporting field operations after hours with purchases, technical support, and managerial direction.
- Foster strong relationships with team members and customers.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Availability to be on leadership on-call schedule and work after hours when necessary (distinct from tech on-call).
- Familiarity with supermarket refrigeration and HVAC systems is essential.
- EPA Certification is required.
- Knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration equipment, electrical systems, and HVAC is a must.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage essential rack refrigeration functions.
- Excellent communication skills.
