Eastern Mechanical Contractors is looking for a detailed-oriented, organized Commercial mechanical project manager to join our team. This position will oversee HVAC/Plumbing process, manage the project budget, coordinate work with subcontractors, manage project schedules, tracking 3-week lookaheads, RFI’s and change orders. The Ideal candidate will be team-oriented but functions well independently. The PM should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and wearing multiple hats, knows how to prioritize according to changing needs. The PM must communicate well with the General Contractor, field staff, operations department, Engineers, Architects, and management.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Mechanical Experience: 10 years (Preferred)
- Project Management: 5 years (Preferred)

Requirements & Qualifications:
10 Year project management/coordination experience
Have a Stong Knowledge for Commercial HVAC /Plumbing, Air systems, Hydronics and Chilled water systems and Controls.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Able to manage multiple projects with multiple employees.
Experienced at compiling and following the project budget.
Excellent professional, verbal, and written communication skills
Goal-oriented and organized along with accurate attention to detail.
Problem solving In-depth understanding of the mechanical process, blueprints, and specs.
Self-motivated and directed.
Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft office and Excel.
Experience in mechanical software a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Plan budgets, cost estimating, and change orders.
· Track budgets and expenses
· Coordinate, plan, and manage mechanical schedules.
· Update 3-week lookaheads weekly.
· Initiate and manage purchase orders for equipment and material, coordinate deliveries, track all expenses.
· Ensure safety plan is followed and all weekly safety meetings are conducted.
· Ensure projects are completed on time and in budget.
