We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Mechanic to join Bold Electric's growing team. The ideal candidate will have significant electrical experience, demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage and mentor crews of apprentices. This role requires expertise in residential and commercial electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical crews in residential and commercial electrical projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and timelines.
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including service panels, breakers, and wiring.
- Conduct new construction and retrofit installations, including wiring for lighting, outlets, and switches.
- Perform inspections and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, such as circuit failures, grounding problems, and load imbalances.
- Install and configure electrical equipment such as transformers, relays, and subpanels.
- Oversee the installation of low-voltage systems such as doorbells, security systems, and data cabling.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate estimates, efficient scheduling, and quality control.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of electrical experience, with a strong emphasis on residential and light commercial systems.
- Leadership experience with the ability to train, manage, and supervise apprentices effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Expertise in service panel upgrades, circuit installations, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with installing and maintaining low-voltage systems.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:
