Rick Wenzel Oil is looking to hire an experienced HVAC service and installation technician. The position requires experience in oil, propane and air conditioning in residential and light commercial environments.
Duties:
- Ability to install all varieties of heating and air conditioning equipment. Should be able to work on own and in a team environment. Ability to take instruction and follow installation plans.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, install and service oil, propane and various heating/cooling systems.
- Maintain a good rapport with customers
- Work safely yet efficiently in order to get work done in a timely fashion.
- Be able to work independently and without assistance
- Maintain a clean appearance and represent the company professionally by keeping the company vehicle clean inside and out.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and expect to work overtime if needed.
- Properly record work done and accurately track stock used from service vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-5 years ideal with oil, gas and air conditioning
- School certification and/or degree ideal
- NH Gas Fitter’s License – Beneficial, but not required
- Current EPA Certification - Beneficial, but not required
- Ability to pass background check
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record - medical card ideal
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Optional but beneficial – CDL with Hazmat endorsement
