Position: Building Maintenance Technician IV/Licensed HVAC
Location: 6211 IH 10 West San Antonio, Texas 78201
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Working Hours: M-F/8-4:30
Bill Rate: up to $55/hour
Pay Rate: up to $32/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Interview: Manager will interview IN-PERSON within 24 hours
Must Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years’ HVAC experience in commercial settings
- Certified HVAC tech (A, B, C)
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance
Plusses:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, irrigation, mechanical, sprinkler systems, or electrical
Day-to-day:
A local non-profit is looking for a Certified HVAC Tech/Technician IV to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The primary responsibility is to perform repairs and maintenance on various HVAC structures including company buildings and warehouses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems
- Maintain accurate log of completed jobs
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, and building codes
- Troubleshoot and repair systems related to electronics, sprinkler systems, mechanical, and plumbing
- Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Respond to emergency calls as needed
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safe work practices
- Maintains local purchase, and other records for parts and materials needed to complete work
- May supervise lower-level electricians
- Other duties as assigned or requested

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
