Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and dynamic In-Home Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team. This role focuses on consultative in-home sales, networking, and relationship-building to drive business growth. You will be responsible for conducting on-site estimates, closing sales, and proactively developing a referral network to generate new leads.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in home improvement sales, real estate, construction sales, or other in-home sales industries who thrive in a high-energy, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct in-home sales presentations to homeowners and commercial property owners, explaining the benefits of our services and providing accurate estimates.
✔ Follow up on all leads in a timely and persistent manner, leveraging the company’s CRM tools and best practices.
✔ Develop self-generated leads by networking, attending trade shows, and engaging with realtors, property managers, and home improvement professionals.
✔ Close deals efficiently by building trust and providing tailored solutions based on client needs.
✔ Create and maintain relationships with past clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
✔ Represent That 1 Painter at community events, home expos, and networking functions to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
✔ Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs and offering solutions that add value.
✔ Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to continuously refine the sales process.
Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or in-home sales (painting, remodeling, real estate, roofing, solar, etc.).
-A proven track record of closing sales and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
-Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
-Self-motivated and disciplined with strong lead-generation experience.
-Comfortable working independently while being a team player.
-Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
-Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM systems (HouseCall Pro experience is a plus).
-Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
