Service Plumber--Weather Masters is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing PLUMBING division. Our company is in growth mode, and we’re looking for technicians that are up to the challenge and want to see their efforts pay off.
Applicants need to have exceptional technical skills, high quality service standards and be excellent trainers to junior technicians. They need superior problem-solving and organizational skill, and above all, they must have great communication with customers and management. Service Techs report directly to the service manager and are supported by an excellent customer service and dispatch team in office.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Weld pipes as needed for specific installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing, with a focus on construction plumbing preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with various plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay for this role: $25-$35 an hr with commission/performance base structure coming soon.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the shared values of Weather Masters to customers and employees in all interactions
Update and maintain all physical and electronic project documentation
Advanced experience in presenting repair and replacement options
Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
Complete service repairs as approved by customer
Ensure jobs are completed on time and communicate exceptions to management and customers
Report problems with equipment to dispatcher to expedite the repair process.
Educate customers on use of their systems
Take proper care of work area and provide outstanding quality and customer service
Attend company trainings and assist with other plumbing duties
Help train lower level technicians as needed
Rotating on-call assignments for emergency services
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license
Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance
Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers
Demonstrated ability to work independently and without direct supervision
Experience in training and mentoring service technicians a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 65 per week
