Job Summary: As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing plumbing systems, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, offer professional recommendations, and ensure efficient and effective plumbing solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to service calls from clients regarding plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning fixtures.
- Perform thorough inspections to identify the root cause of plumbing problems and develop appropriate repair or replacement strategies.
- Repair, install, and maintain various plumbing systems, including pipes, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert recommendations on plumbing products, fixtures, and system upgrades.
- Estimate costs for repairs, replacements, and installations, and present detailed quotes to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including materials used, time spent, and services rendered.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and explaining the work performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to plumbing systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Plumber or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and repairing various plumbing issues.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, including installation and maintenance procedures.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergencies, as required.
