HVAC Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: Progressive Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, HVAC equipment, and supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Service Manager.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping HVAC equipment and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy, proper storage, and efficient distribution of products.
- Implement and maintain warehouse organization systems to optimize space and workflow.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and delivery teams to ensure timely procurement and shipment of goods.
- Develop and enforce warehouse safety policies, conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, scheduling repairs and replacements as needed.
- Assist in budget planning, cost control, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Communicate effectively with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in warehouse management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management, or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead, train, and manage a team.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and trailers (certification preferred).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC products, components, and distribution processes is a plus.
