Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced HVAC Commercial/Industrial Service Technician III with 5+ years of experience in servicing commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Chiller and Boiler experience is a MUST! The ideal candidate will also have expertise in EMS/Controls systems, along with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and split systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize EMS/Controls systems (e.g., BAS, Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell).
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Respond to client calls and provide professional, clear communication about service needs and recommendations.
- Travel to job sites in Austin and the surrounding areas using a company-provided vehicle.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Document all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Be available for potential overtime as needed to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC service and repair.
- Expertise with chillers, boilers, and EMS/Controls systems is required.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
