Position: HVAC Operations Manager - Hydronic & Fan Coil units (Nationwide)
Salary: $45 - $51 p/h
Reports To: Director of Operations
We have an excellent opportunity for an HVAC Operations Manager, specializing in Hydronic systems & Fan Coil units to work with our client in Luxury hotels across the Country. Their services extend the life of the HVAC assets, improve indoor air quality and comfort, and reduce energy consumption by refurbishing and re-commissioning vertical, horizontal, packaged, and split air handler units.
Our client is looking for an HVAC Operations Manager who has a good all-around knowledge of refurbishing and re-commissioning vertical, horizontal, packaged, and split air handler units as well as being able to lead a team of technicians at different sites across the Country.
The successful candidate will need to be mechanically inclined, client-facing, able to problem solve and maintain a great relationship on-site. This would be the ideal role for someone who has leadership qualities and good knowledge of HVAC systems and can frequently travel to different sites across the United States.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Operations Manager will be responsible for project planning, project start-ups, troubleshooting and diagnosis of HVAC issues, monitoring and controlling the quality of service of our teams and ensuring proper workflow for projects.
This position will require frequent travel to project sites and locations. This is a full-time salaried position with a competitive salary.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the Operations team in planning new projects.
· Plan and coordinate projects start-ups.
· Assist the Operations team in planning proper workflow for each project in accordance with project’s schedule.
· Provide technical support for technicians.
· Assist the field team with technical issues, troubleshooting and provide proper solutions to these issues.
· Review daily project reports for adherence to requirements, and search for inaccuracies.
· Travel to various job sites, both announced and unannounced visits to monitor quality, progress, compliance, safety, and training.
· Participate and assist in technicians’ training.
· Keeps current with latest training on current products, coordinates training and maintains training records to ensure personnel maintain proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
· Coordinates and communicate daily with Operations team
Job Requirements:
· Minimum of High School or GED degree required
· Experienced HVAC Certified Install Technician with experience in hydronic systems and fan coil units.
· A diploma, degree or certificate program in the HVAC field is preferred
· Excellent organization, planning, and follow-through abilities.
· English language speaking and writing proficiency required.
· Spanish language speaking proficiency preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HVAC Lead Service Technician and/or Coordinator required.
· Experience overseeing less experienced technicians and ensuring their work is done efficiently and with a high-quality standard.
· Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hydronic systems with more extensive knowledge on fan coil units air handlers.
· Ability to read and analyze Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing drawings.
· Advanced technical understanding and knowledge of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and control systems.
· Understanding of building codes for HVAC installation
· Ability to work efficiently with technology tools including smart phones, laptops, tablets, and software required.
· Experience working with computer software such as Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook required.
· Ability to work independently and to instruct others.
· Ability to work in tight conditions
· Must hold a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening test.
· Travel is required.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
