As a General Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our success, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sales department and driving performance excellence. This position offers a strong, aggressive compensation structure and an exciting pathway for potential advancement to a General Manager role.
Primary Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the used car sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Source, acquire, and manage the dealership's pre-owned vehicle inventory. Determine pricing strategies and oversee merchandising efforts.
- Foster a customer-focused environment, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service throughout the purchasing process.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue, expand market share, and capitalize on emerging trends in the used car market.
- Analyze sales data, track key performance indicators, and implement data-driven decisions to optimize sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years General Sales Manager experience.
- Proven experience demonstrating a track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of pre-owned vehicle market trends, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team to success.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a Must
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,810.00 - $86,439.00 per year
