Position Description
- We seek a dynamic and versatile individual to fill our healthcare clinic's dual role of marketing and clinical specialist. (The Internal title is Business Development Associate (BDA) andClinical Specialist (CS).)
- This unique position combines marketing efforts to build and maintain referral relationships with physicians and community partners, while also covering clinical duties to support patient care.
- The ideal candidate must have a strong medical background and the ability to build relationships with doctors and doctor office staff. They must also be outgoing, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional service both in the community and within the clinic.
BDA Duties
- This position requires you to drive to different doctor offices in the area—this is 70% of your role. The other 30% of your time is spent working from home to complete administrative duties.
- You are responsible for "pavement pounding" marketing -- i.e., visiting Physicians' Offices, scheduling meetings with them, building relationships, and educating them about PAD -- signs & symptoms, and indications for appropriate referrals.
- Coverage area: Austin, Texas and surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius.
- The goal is to increase awareness of PAD in the community, be a brand ambassador for PAD Specialists, and assist in driving appropriate referrals to PAD Specialists.
Clinical Duties
- Obtaining and monitoring vital signs & pedal pulses
- Preparing the groin for access
- Monitor access site, assuring hemostasis
- Discharging the patient home
- Documenting all information in our EMR.
- Inventory and supply management
Schedule:
- BDA Schedule - Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (CT)
- Clinical Schedule - M-F, 8 -10hr shifts, Saturdays as needed
Requirements
- 18-month minimum commitment required
- An A+ customer service-oriented attitude is a must.
- Tech savviness/Experience with an EMR system and Google Workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent in developing and maintaining effective relationships with providers, staff, and the community.
- Healthcare marketing experience preferred but not required
- Drug screens and background check
- Maturity, good judgment, and a proactive mind anticipate and preempt problems (rather than simply react to them)
- Spirit of continuous improvement -- strive to grow, improve, and learn professionally and personally every day and help the Company do the same.
- All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the PADS team and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned.

- We currently do not offer paid holidays or paid time off. Our pay is at the 99th percentile for all positions in the locations that we are in. Higher pay has a far higher dollarized value than paid holidays or PTO does. Thus, we do not offer paid holidays or PTO -- we offer the highest pay around.
- You may take up to 80 hours of UTO (unpaid time off).
