Overview
Are you just starting out in the HVAC and refrigeration trades? Or are you looking to get introduced to them? We are a local (San Antonio and Austin) commercial HVAC/R company that needs to bring aboard a maintenance technician. The purpose of this position is 2-fold: 1.) to bring in someone who can perform our contracted planned maintenance calls in an efficient and timely manner; 2.) pick up further skills so that we can help develop you into a diagnostic tech. (To the latter, this will not happen overnight, but it's the best pathway)

Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Weld and plumb as required for system installations or repairs.
- Collaborate with team members on design projects for new installations or upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with equipment repair and appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Experience in building or servicing complex HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
