Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC WarrantyTechnician to join our team. The main focus of this position is to diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems under warranty within our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to determine the cause of malfunctions or failures.
- Perform necessary repairs or replacements of defective parts in accordance with warranty guidelines.
- Enter/maintain accurate job notes of all warranty-related activities into Service Titan.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on their warranty claims and ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to provide feedback on recurring issues or potential improvements.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain communication with dispatcher, your manager, parts and installation teams.
- Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
- Keep your truck inventory up to date.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Collaborate with other technicians to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the HVAC field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- EPA Certification
- At least 5 years of service experience is required.
