Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a solid background in HVAC/R systems and residential new construction. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising technicians, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC service technicians and mechanics.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex issues related to air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.
- Review schematics and blueprints to determine system requirements and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality.
- Train new employees on best practices in HVAC service techniques and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in the HVAC industry with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in using tools related to HVAC work including welding equipment for repairs.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
