Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in construction plumbing. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople on construction sites and must be adept at using hand tools and equipment necessary for plumbing tasks.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform pipe threading and welding as required for various plumbing installations.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other trades on construction sites to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential improvements.
- Utilize hand tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments related to plumbing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
- Proficient in PEX piping, PVC drain lines
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and construction practices.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and welding is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools specific to plumbing tasks.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work.
