Bueno Foods, one of the Southwest's premier producers of New Mexican and Mexican style foods, serving restaurant and retail customers throughout the United States, is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic IV, who will be responsible for repairs and maintaining machines and equipment in good working order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·
- Provides major mechanical service on all plant systems.
- Responsible for training existing and new mechanics in all departments on new and current pieces of equipment.
- Completes training assignments and all documentation needed for tracking training.
- Provides production support.
- Repairs machines and mechanical equipment.
- Trouble shoots electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
- Repairs, replaces and troubleshoots electrical and electronic components. Programs PLC’s, motor drives and other electrical and electronic components.
- Orders replacement parts and reassembles machines and equipment.
- Makes all necessary adjustments for operation.
- Fabricates and installs equipment and fixtures.
- Performs arc and oxyacetylene welding on a wide variety of equipment and fixtures.
- Performs minor carpentry duties.
- Completes work assignments from MJT's, PM’s and completes information to track expenses and man-hours.
- Responsible for fire prevention duties according to established policies and procedures.
- May perform refrigeration duties as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as equipment mechanic in a food manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of single phase electricity, required.
- Experience with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical systems, and electronic systems required.
- Experience with safety and lockout programs and systems.
- Has own hand tools, including a meter.
- Experience with MJT programs and systems, preferred.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs or systems, preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of HVAC systems, preferred.
- Experience welder certified in tig and arc welding techniques, preferred.
- Experience with forklift safety and PM programs, preferred.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 100 pounds.
- Valid/Current Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate computer and keyboard in order to input & retrieve data and to prepare reports.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- Formal apprenticeship or formal training in industrial trades at a certified trade school or program in electronics, programming, or PLC's.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Day Shift: 4:30am - 4:30pm
