Our company is in immediate need of a Journeyperson Electrician to work on various electrical installation and repair projects. This individual will be required to follow all safety measures and company policies. Qualified candidates must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, and possess a knowledge of 2020 electrical codes as well as experience researching applicable standards. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team setting is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and power tools to install electrical wiring and conduit.
- Read blueprints or schematics showing circuit layouts and electrical equipment locations.
- Measure spaces where conduit or wiring will be installed and mark the spots on walls where conduits are to be placed.
- Remove switches, outlets, junction boxes, etc.
- Install electrical wiring for lighting fixtures, appliances, motors, drives, and other electrical equipment.
- Install conduit and wiring in walls, ceilings, and floors.
- Connect wires from the panel box to the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Install conduits in floors, walls, ceilings and around obstacles.
- Run wires into wall spaces between framing members.
- Sometimes install switches, junction boxes, wire nuts and other electrical devices in new construction jobs or in remodeling work.
- Install electrical gear and services
- Troubleshoot electrical issues that may exist
- Motor Controls and PLC Installation

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
