Marketing Director
Status: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $95-100K

Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will be a self-starter responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth across multiple digital channels. This role will be responsible for leading our efforts around email/SMS communications, paid and organic social media marketing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, a keen analytical mindset, and a proven track record of optimizing digital campaigns to achieve business objectives. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical skills, and business acumen to identify new opportunities for growth, maximize ROI, and ensure continuous improvement of our digital marketing initiatives. What you will do:
- Manage direct marketing channels including email/SMS and owned social media to support acquisition, reactivation and retention efforts to drive revenue for Snap Kitchen’s retail and ecommerce channels.
- Develop a strategic digital marketing plan with measurable impact that provides visibility into the 360-degree view of a customer’s marketing journey: from initial engagement, to consideration, to purchase, to retention and subscription services.
- Grow customer base by developing and implementing compelling email and digital marketing campaigns that increase customer engagement, helping improve LTV.
- Develop and build weekly and automated email marketing campaigns from end-to-end, including concept development and content planning, audience segmentation and targeting, set-up, deployment, reporting and ongoing testing and optimization.
- Plan, create and publish engaging content across all social channels including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels as appropriate. Utilize a dedicated budget to hire content creators.
- Own and manage all comments, messages, etc. on social media platforms and work with Customer Care to send approved responses to frequently asked questions.
- Lead the promotional digital marketing strategy and creation of promotional offerings in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and Performance Marketing agency on paid acquisition strategy to drive down CAC and drive LTV.
- Report on and learn from email and social media performance to ensure campaigns are meeting customer engagement metrics and revenue goals.
- Utilize testing across creative concepts and audience targeting and implement necessary improvements to processes, design, templates, and functionality to drive results.
- Monitor and understand current industry data trends and best practices to develop inventive strategies for engaging with existing and prospective customers.
Who you are:
- Texas-based with experience growing a retail-focused brand
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, specifically email marketing and digital advertising.
- 2+ years direct email marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, analytics, and reporting. Klaviyo experience is preferred.
- 2+ years social media marketing experience, including TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field required.
- Proven track record of growing revenue through digital marketing channels you have directly managed.
- Master of project management with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a clear sense of priorities.
- Knowledge of email marketing and social media best practices and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
- Relentless attention to detail, strong organization skills, cross-functional project management experience, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Comfortable with paid acquisition strategy and making data driven decisions.
- A go-getter with high energy and desire to drive the business, a focus on possibilities and not obstacles.
