Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the operations of our premier hotel located in Miami Beach. The General Manager will serve as the primary strategic business leader for the property, overseeing all aspects of operations with a particular emphasis on sales and revenue generation. This role is responsible for driving guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining financial performance, and ensuring alignment with brand standards to deliver exceptional results and a strong return on investment for ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Occupancy: Ensure that sales and occupancy levels are consistently maintained at a high standard.
- Brand & Service Strategy: Oversee the implementation of brand initiatives and service standards to enhance guest satisfaction, drive profitability, and increase market share.
- Leadership Accountability: Lead the property’s management team, holding them accountable for the successful execution of strategic plans and operational goals.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of growth and professional development for all team members, focusing on leadership development and continuous learning.
- Sales Engine Optimization: Leverage all sales channels to maximize revenue generation and business performance.
- Owner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership by proactively managing expectations, providing transparent communication, and delivering solid financial results.
- Community Engagement: Actively represent the hotel in the local community by establishing strong connections with local businesses, officials, and customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in a branded hotel environment is a plus.
- Strong background in hotel sales and revenue management, with a demonstrated ability to drive and maximize sales performance.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies that lead to increased revenue and market share.
- Solid financial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L statements, budget forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Demonstrated ability to meet financial targets and achieve high guest satisfaction scores.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and fostering a positive work environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
