Job Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician will manage safety, quality, and efficiency for new residential electrical installation projects. They will oversee day-to-day installation activities across multiple crews and ensure timely completion of projects. They will be responsible for physically inspecting residential houses to ensure that all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed and working correctly according to Local and NEC Codes standards and are ready for inspection.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day installation activities across multiple crews.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to the local NEC codes.
- Inspection and repair of electrical wiring, systems, fixtures in residential new construction homes.
- Reading and interpretation of technical drawings, and blueprints to identify where wiring is or should be placed.
- Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.
- Maintain safety standards.
- Lead, monitor, motivate and oversee their team to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Make sure productivity goals are met by crews.
- Walk through job after completion and check for code compliance.
- Assist with troubleshooting as necessary to meet home completion deadlines.
- All other duties as assigned by management.

- Must have Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR report.
Education and Experience:
- Journeyman's card, current and in good standing (required).
- 3-5 Years’ experience in fast paced, high volume residential electrical new construction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Good vision to inspect work.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
