Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and property maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is necessary for this position as you will be required to drive a company van to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while on the job site.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
- Ability to weld and perform basic metal fabrication tasks is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
