We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure all installations meet NEC standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Perform low voltage installations as required for various applications.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Experience using hand tools and testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters is essential.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Certification or relevant training in electrical work is preferred but not mandatory.
