Basic Function
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor this position will have a strong focus on plumbing and painting. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems as well as preparing and painting surfaces and installing drywall to maintain the Center’s appearance.
Responsibilities
Plumbing:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, drains, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and standards during all installations and repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to reduce the need for emergency repairs.
Painting:
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing any imperfections.
- Installing drywall
- Ensure the quality and appearance of painted surfaces are professional and meet aesthetic standards.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs to existing paintwork as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of three years of experience in plumbing and painting.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent and the ability to read and write English.
- Strong knowledge Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must have the ability to work independently, plan effectively and prioritize
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in minor electrical repair, carpentry, paver replacement or concreate
- Post high school vocational or trade school training in electrical repair, carpentry or construction.
- Bi-lingual

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, communicate, and use repetitive motions.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee may frequently lift and or move 50 pounds of materials.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee may frequently climb and work from a ladder or lift and/or work in confined spaces.
- The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from multiple people and interact with the public and other staff.
