Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industry maintenance and facilities management. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely, while also managing projects and leading a team of maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Manage maintenance schedules and construction schedules to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Lead and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Develop, implement and execute preventative maintenance systems.
Coordinate facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Seek, evaluate and select comparative project proposals to value engineer cost leading to project start and completion.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to absorb a high volume of tasks consistently.
Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems schematics is highly desirable.
Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Google Docs for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise.

Pay: $64,900.00 - $79,400.00 per year
