F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Fabrication Manager for it's Canton, MA location.

Responsibilities:

Scheduling and managing flow of work going through Pipe shop
Coordinating receivables, material handling and shipping of material and product being sold to customers.
Participating in the interviewing, hiring and recruiting of shop workers
Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
Interpret specifications, drawings and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Studies schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
Maintains time records and coordinates schedules. May, upon employer's authorization, make cost estimates for contracts

Qualifications:

Work within precise limits of standards and accuracy
Ability to multi-task and work with changing priorities
Working knowledge of characteristics of steel pipe and related products used in the industry.
Familiarity with lay-out and design techniques
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Prior supervisory experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
