This job will require managing multiple foreman and their crews on new construction, remodels, and tenant improvement projects. You will be responsible for keeping track of employees time, training, safety on the jobs, & supervision. The job will also require meetings with the general contractor, architect, & engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Plan, direct and supervise crews and subcontractors on a daily basis
-Reports to project manager/estimator and operations manager
-Coordinates with other trades on the job
-Communicate with project managers and superintendents about job conditions, progress and any other job specific details
-Constantly coordinate with shop/vendors for delivery of materials, equipment and supplies to job sites to ensure that workers have the proper tools, materials and equipment to complete the job
-Track and report on the daily progress specific to each job
- Must be familiar with the installation of piping systems
-Understand submittal data and construction documents including O&Ms, blue prints, submittals and specifications
-Must be familiar with OSHA requirements, have the ability to follow proper safety protocols per OSHA and report any safety violations
-Knowledge of start up procedures.
-Attend any pre-construction, site and safety meetings
REQUIREMENTS
-10 years of HVAC commercial construction experience REQUIRED
-3 years of a supervisory position REQUIRED
-Reliable and dependable
-Fully understand how to read and interpret construction blue prints, specs and submittals
-Must meet physical requirements which include bending, heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
-Ability to follow proper safety protocols
-Ability to work overtime/weekends when needed
-Valid Drivers license
-Can successfully pass a background check, drug test and have a clean driving record
