What We Are Looking For:
Cox Engineering’s Energy and Sustainability team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager, CES. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, supporting field specialists while also working as an individual contributor in assisting hardware design, programming BMS/IoT control sequences, and modifying graphics.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the building automation systems integration projects, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality control measures.
- Program and configure HVAC sequences and control logic for building automation systems using industry-standard protocols and programming languages.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient control strategies to optimize HVAC system performance and reduce operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and debug control systems, identifying and resolving issues related to programming, hardware, or system integration.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of field system specialists.
- Provide technical guidance and support, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Help enhance the skills and expertise of field personnel.
- Review and evaluate hardware engineering designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to provide feedback and recommendations on design, component selection, and system integration.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of industry experience across programming and integration.
- Professional certifications in building automation systems, Tridium Niagara preferred.
- A passion for energy-efficiency and sustainability in providing solutions.
- Experience in leading field system specialists.
- Familiarity with graphics rendering techniques, UI/UX design, and visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and foster a positive work culture.
