Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling systems, including refrigerate units.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems.
- Conduct field service visits to residential and commercial properties for system installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
- Assist in the installation of ammonia refrigeration systems as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
- Experience in appliance repair and general mechanic tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as required for system installations or repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
