About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service Agent who can have fun while building relationships with our customers. FGT Customer Service Agents maintain a positive, empathetic, fun, and professional attitude toward customers, all to help our team provide top-tier customer support.
This is a temporary, remote-based position (Winter into Summer 2025).
Responsibilities
- Work with customers through phone calls, emails, and online chat to help with orders previously placed, problem-solve plant issues, and provide care advice.
- Collaborate with Senior Plant Experts to ensure success for each customer.
- Develop and build world-class relationships with existing and new customers.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure confidence and success with their growing project.
- Utilize various internal systems to assist customers in the best way possible to ensure world-class customer experiences.
Competencies and qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Based in SC, NC, TX, TN, GA, PA, FL, VA, UT (Required)
- A laptop or desktop computer (Required)
- A second monitor (Preferred)
- High-speed internet - upload speed: 10 mbps; download speed: 30 mbps. You can test your internet’s speed at https://www.speedtest.net/or through another online service (Required)
- Proficiency in computer software systems inc. Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- 1-2+ years of experience with customer service (preferred)

Compensation and other details
Compensation for this position is set at $15.00 per hour.
Successful candidates must provide their own equipment to perform their role effectively. This includes a laptop or desktop computer, an additional monitor, and a headset. A quiet, distraction-free workspace is essential to maintain productivity and focus. Employees may also choose to use a separate mouse and keyboard if working on a laptop.
