We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tower Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications towers and related equipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work at heights. As a Tower Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable communication services for our clients.
Duties
- Climb telecommunications towers to perform installation and maintenance tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks safely for various field service operations.
- Conduct low voltage work as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform fiber splicing to connect and maintain fiber optic cables.
- Rig and secure equipment for safe operation during maintenance activities.
- Install cabling systems for 5G technology and other telecommunication services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunications equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Previous experience in tower climbing or field service within the telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and safety protocols is essential.
- Experience with fiber splicing techniques is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in welding practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and cabling installation for telecommunications systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Pay: $23.89 - $25.55 per hour
