We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tower Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications towers and related equipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work at heights. As a Tower Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable communication services for our clients.

Duties

Climb telecommunications towers to perform installation and maintenance tasks.
Operate bucket trucks safely for various field service operations.
Conduct low voltage work as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Perform fiber splicing to connect and maintain fiber optic cables.
Rig and secure equipment for safe operation during maintenance activities.
Install cabling systems for 5G technology and other telecommunication services.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunications equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Experience

Previous experience in tower climbing or field service within the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Familiarity with low voltage systems and safety protocols is essential.
Experience with fiber splicing techniques is highly desirable.
Proficiency in welding practices is a plus.
Knowledge of rigging techniques and cabling installation for telecommunications systems is beneficial.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.89 - $25.55 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
