Volvo Cars of Austin is hiring an additional Cashier to assist customers with Parts and Service payments and borrowed vehicles while customers are in for service. We are looking for an energetic, customer service oriented person able to work full time (40 hours) during the hours of Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 7:00 pm with some Saturdays 9 am to 4 pm.
Cashier job duties include:
- Accepting accurate payments for Parts and Service tickets along with getting the necessary customer signatures
- Ensuring customers receive their copy of paperwork and internal copies are organized to process
- Balancing each day’s transactions to confirm that all payments are accounted for and accepted in our system
- Managing a fleet of loaner vehicles, ensuring they are ready for use when loaned and thoroughly checked upon return
- Inputting customer information to create loaner agreement and obtaining the necessary signatures
- Confirming customer’s documents meet requirements to receive a borrowed vehicle for dealership
- Tracking vehicles to know if all cars are accounted for and when additional cars are available to service customers
- Clerical tasks as needed to support other employees/departments
Cashier candidates must have:
- Valid TX Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Good face-to-face customer service skills

Standing for extended periods and working briefly outdoors are necessary at times for this position. Auto Dealership experience, including using Reynolds & Reynolds and/or TSD Loaner software is a plus.
