Job Summary:
Fuse3 Solutions is working with a valued client seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join their team in Austin, Texas. The Safety Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and improving their safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within their civil construction projects. This role is integral to supporting their field operations, particularly in utility construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Collaborate with foremen to implement and enforce safety protocols effectively.
Maintain and utilize safety checklists to monitor adherence to project-specific safety requirements.
Review and analyze safety logs, records, and incident reports to identify areas for improvement.
Provide advanced safety training and guidance to employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety practices.
Investigate and resolve safety-related issues promptly and effectively to minimize risks.
Develop and update safety policies and procedures tailored to civil construction, utility trenching, and excavation projects.
Ensure all equipment and tools meet safety standards before use.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably within civil construction, utility trenching, or excavation.
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with foremen, crews, and management.
Proven ability to resolve safety-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and preparing reports.
Valid driver’s license; eligible for a truck allowance or company-provided vehicle.
